An Intimate South Indian Wedding, Wrapped in the Timeless Charm of Marigolds
Aishwarya and Mohnish’s wedding was nothing short of magical — a celebration that wove together love, family, and culture into a tapestry of timeless memories. What made this wedding truly special was not just its elegance, but also its deep connection to heritage.
This multi-day affair unfolded like a story in chapters, each ritual carrying its own significance and charm. The festivities began with a vibrant bangle ceremony, followed by a joyful Haldi and the traditional Pellikuturu.
The evening came alive with a high-energy Sangeet, where music, dance, and laughter set the perfect prelude to the big day. The wedding morning was all about sacred rituals, steeped in South Indian tradition. Guests were then treated to a scrumptious banana leaf meal, a true cultural experience that was as much a feast for the senses as it was for the palate.
To bring it all full circle, the celebrations concluded with a western-style reception that carried on into the early hours of the morning. It was intimate yet grand, personal yet universal — a wedding that celebrated not just the union of two people, but also the rich legacy of South Indian heritage.
Our journey with Aishwarya and Mohnish began with helping the family select a venue that matched their vision. The Leela Palace Bengaluru was the perfect canvas, setting the tone for a regal yet warm celebration. From there, we meticulously planned menus, designed décor concepts, curated entertainment, and managed guest hospitality and logistics. For their international friends, we organized shopping trips, created a custom wedding website, and even hosted a lighthearted afternoon session introducing them to the game of cricket — a detail that became a memory in itself.
Every little touch was thoughtfully woven into the larger story, ensuring the couple and their loved ones could simply immerse themselves in the joy of the moment. And as the final notes of music faded and the marigolds stood glowing in the morning light, what remained was a wedding remembered for its soul, warmth, and timeless charm.
