Make your monsoon wedding unique and fun with a few simple and practical ideas.

Choose a venue which has a combination of indoor and outdoor space. That way you can enjoy the best of both worlds. If that is not possible then cover the open space with either clear tents or marquees.

Incorporate the monsoon theme into your wedding starting with your stationery and invitations.

Wedding themed event at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur

When EMC, the world’s largest provider of data storage systems, approached us to do something different for their Partners Meet 2014 we had to come up new ideas for their corporate world.

We came up with the theme “The Big Fat Indian Wedding” and chose the Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jodhpur. With no expenses spared for their partners the first event was a private Mela themed Mehendi event at the Mehrangarh Fort. We chose the traditional lehriya for the decor, set up beautiful jootis, bandhej clothes, among many other shops. Guests enjoyed a cultural program and many games found in Indian Melas.

The next day guests let their hair down at the bollywood themed sangeet complete with a photobooth, celebrity bartenders and a DJ to keep the night young.

Given the beautiful location we organized a photoshoot for the spouses while the men attended the conference. With the splendid background of the palace a lot of families made it their cover photo’s on Facebook and it adorns their walls at home.

The final day was a red and gold themed awards night where the guests enjoyed world class cuisine and grooved to the tunes latest bollywood music. We completed the event by placing a shagun envelope and famous Jodhpuri sweets in their rooms and as we personally said goodbye to each and every guest many of whom thanked us for memories of a lifetime.
